- mean to me. I stayed thinking my husband just needed to mature a bit. Then things mellowed for a few years and I was actually happy. Imagine that. Our oldest is 24 and moved out a time ago cuz he couldnt take it. He is now married and said he is gonna do the opposite that dad does. My are great boys. They both say they their dad but dont understand why he's such a jerk at times. Now the youngest is 18 and could move out but is looking for a job. Who isnt? But, i have noticed alot of dumb behavior since the boys got older. And yes, my boys me to pieces. At least i have them. When i am down in the dumps i remember them. He could be jealous of our 18 yr old. My husband awhile back said to him "Why are you going to the gym!!!!! When are you gonna use those muscles and put them to good use!! You think your'e so tough??!! What are you gonna do about it??!!! " My kid ignored him and tried to not argue. My always try not to argue cuz its useless. My husband always says what he accomplished when he was and whats wrong with all the now. Of course i am leaving alot of stuff out from over the years. We did go to therapy as a family and alone as a couple. The very last time we went as a family was about 4 months ago. The next day after therapy my husband freaked out on me and said everything is my fault and i need to support him. I said i do support good behavior but not behavior that is confrontational or emotionally abusive. He then said he would never go back for help cuz its everyone not him. During the therapy session the therapist didnt take anyones side. He basiy said we are a family and need to learn to get along. I agreed. I think my husband got pissed since the therapist didnt blame me or our. Thanks for listening.
