I’m out seeing a movie last night with my bf and his friends, including one friend. I had bought, flat, shoelace type licorice for my bf and myself. His female friend, sitting on his right, asked for some, he offered her a whole piece. She wanted less. When he couldn’t tear a piece, he offered for them to each chew from one end of the licorice and meet in the middle “Lady and the Tramp style”. The friend laughed the comment off, and bit a piece off. I was sitting to his left and said nothing. Neither of them said anything to me, knowing I’d witnessed the whole thing. This isn’t the first anecdote of this sort, where flirtatious remarks/actions are made by him to her in front of me. It’s mostly him who keeps saying and doing things of this nature, but she has never pushed these advances away, either. I just can’t figure out if I’m being oversensitive and should keep saying nothing, if my bf is insensitive or just without filters. Or is it something?
