When I was younger life seemed endless. Now I'm realizing that time is relentless. By this I mean, that now I'm realizing something my folks have told me recently..that as you approach the later years time seems to fly. Also, I notice even though it feels irrational sometimes that I'm more irritable and get frustrated over things that used to not bother me as much. I'm trying to learn to laugh things off a bit more. I'm just wondering if this is all normal. I still "feel", but it's clear from some recent medical issues that I'm past the "halfway" point. Also, I'm hoping/trying to find some wisdom in older age some positive benefit, but often I just feel jealous about the things that younger people around me in their lifetimes that I won't. Also, I'm afraid that when I get "older" I won't be able to work/compete with younger people and so struggle financially.
