We left late day, made a fantastic run across the straits and the Banks in a little over hours, our track shows a perfect S curve (which is what you are trying for as you start heading south then get caught by the Gulf Stream and go north so as not to fight but to take adavantage of it and then south again once you are on the east side of the Stream) Then on across the Banks another 9 hours or so to make landfall at Great Sale Cay. We slept and took Cricket to shore and then made another all day run to Crab Cay and finally on to Green Turtle where we cleared customs and immigration late yesterday. The weather has since turned to shit and we are sitting up in White Sound waiting on a front to pass with 25-30 knot winds. We are in a nice protected hole that we like to use to ride out these cold fronts as they blow thru, then it be clear for a bit to get out among the Cays. We are a bit low on fresh water, but should get somewhere we can buy water to fill our tanks in a few days. All is well aboard s/v T, and Cricket is happy to be in the land of the curly tails.
