He was on a ventilator and couldn't talk so he couldn't even tell anyone that he wasn't well. Someone noticed that he was shaking and sweating and had the sense to check his blood sugar and found it at 35. THAT was a real problem and he very well could have died quickly. It took 3 massive injections of glucose to bring him back to a safe level. I can tell you that my father was moved out of that facility and into a different one because we had lost our in their ability to take good care of him.
