I dreamt about the fling all night (and even in my dream he still ultimately rejected a relationship with me so I KNOW it's never going to be him). I think I want that butterfly feeling I got with my first and several boyfriends who ultimately broke my heart. I like the guys who are really independent maybe a bit more catlike than puppy dog. That's a good analogy. I think this one is too into me too fast and it's making me feel pressure to reciprocate those feeling when I don't at the moment. We were kissing and I was just really thinking about it being over rather than getting excited and wanting to prolong it. I the wanting to kiss forever feeling.

I'm 27. We dated non seriously maybe 10 times since we met freshman year of college. She was in medschool out of the country so we would be together when she was around, and not when he was gone. It was honestly because until the last two years I was hesitant to get settled down because I was dating around and exploring the world so to speak. I have since grown up a bit. Things became much more serious for us about a month ago. When I say off my game I mean in the sleep all day for about 5 months, than the next 5 months been on and off working, I am freelance so I work when I choose and I have money saved. It's not money that's concening her though, it's the lack of passion I've had toward it. The combination of the two has given her parents a very bad impression of me because they really started seeing me a lot more often around this time period. This is all very out of character of me because normally I am very hard working and parents me. Also sometimes still I just am not there mentally for her. She had somewhat taken the lead at times because I'm just not present and it bothers her. I am a great boyfriend, but I know I could be better. She was the most amazing person in the world during the time following my dads passing. Idk if anyone has ever been so supportive of anothe person. For a time she let all these things slide but she's worried about the future if I don't get back on track. I've been doing well lately and actually workin harder than ever. It's only just recently though but I'm at pace to be doing better than ever with a promising career. And generally I've snapped out of my funk after seeing what it's costing.

Civil rights groups should push for the ideal, and keep pushing, so that politicians are goaded into taking each step toward the ideal instead of saying "well, we got a little bit for our effort, I give up now because part is as good as the whole."
